step 1 warm up
1.greeting.
t: class begins.
m: stand up.
t: good morning
ss: good morning, miss li.
t: sit down, please.
2.sing a song----in the class
t: before our class, let’s sing a song together, ok?
ss: ok.
t: now, are you ready?
ss: yes.
(sing the song together and do some actions)
step 2 pre-task  preparation
1.introduce your own deskmate to us.
t: hello, i’m miss li. this is wang zhenghao. can you introduce your deskmate to use the sentence
structure “this is …”. 
(choess two lines’ students to say)
step 3 while-task procedure
1.guess.
(look at the screen, show a flash)
t: can you guess where they are?
ss: ….
t: ok, let me see. look, this is a bag. read after me.
(stress this word and teach the word.)
ss: a bag, a bag. this is a bag.
t: do you remember what’s in my bag? (the things appeared in the flash)
can you guess? (encourage them)
ss: a book.
t: yes, you’re right. this is a book. read after me. this is a book. (teach the word)
ss: a book, a book. this is a book.
2.let’s play a game. ---- can you find it out?
ask a student to come to the front in the face of
us, then
the teacher stand the back of him. show a picture
cards, all
students read it loudly, the student should find it out from
all the word cards and picture cards.
(ask 4 to 5 students to play)
t:  clever. let’s go on. what’s in my bag? can   you guess?
ss: a pencil.
t: yes, this is a pencil. do you have a pencil.     show me. read after me.  (teach the word)
ss: (show it to the teacher) a pencil, a pencil. this is a pencil.
t: have the last one.  en….  look at the screen,
this is a half of a thing. can you guess what’s this?
ss: a pencil-box.
t: great. this is a pencil-box. read after me.
(teach the word slowly ----pencil and box)

2.  read the new words after the tape.
step 4 post-task activities
1. game---- find the same word.
put the picture cards on the blackboard, then ask a student come to the front to put the same word cards next to the
picture cards.
t: who want to try?
ss: let me try.
(ask 8 students to play)
2. change.  ----put the word cards on the blackboard, then ask a student come to the front to put the same cards next to the picture cards.
(ask 8 students to play)
3.read after me. i read it once, while you read
