1. they are talking about ben’s birthday. 他们在谈论本的生日。
1）talk about 谈论，可以是谈论某人，也可以是谈论某事。例如：

1) what date is it today? 这句话用来询问日期，同义句“what’s the date today?”答句用：it’s + the +序数词 + of + 月份。

2）对于日期的表达，英美的表达方式是有差别的。英式英语一日为先，月份为后；美式英语则相反。例如：

1) would you like to do sth. 想要做某事，相当于 want to do sth.。例如：

2) would you like to…? 这个句型肯定回答一般为：sure. / yes, i’d like to. 不用yes, please. /no, thanks. 回答。例如：
— would you like to go shopping with me? 你想和我一起去购物吗？

1) take off 后接具体的名词时，名词可以放在两词中间，也可以放在off后面。例如：

3) take off还可以表示飞机“起飞”。例如：
